Once you find the kinds of patio tables that will work for your needs, you need to select the right umbrella. Figure out how much shade you will need, and look for an umbrella that can offer that coverage. A general rule of thumb is if you have a patio table that is up to 30 inches wide, you need a 6-foot umbrella. A 7-foot umbrella will cover a table up to 36 inches. If you have a larger table, up to 48 inches, you need to look for a 9-foot umbrella, to assure the right amount of shade. If you are considering backyard dining, and have an exceptionally large table (up to 72 inches,) you will need a major umbrella of 11-foot in diameter.
Ask for a discount. Once you find the patio tables you want why not ask if they will cut the price to one you are more comfortable with? Many furniture stores will appreciate if you are completely honest about what you are willing to spend on something. If you let them know you have a budget in mind they will most likely try to meet the budget and help you out because at the same time they are helping themselves out by moving an item out of inventory.
Having the ultimate place to kick back and relax in your outdoor space is a moot point if you do not have the total package with the place to set down your drink or eat a nice meal if you want. So, to make sure your space is complete, you need to purchase some lovely patio tables for it.
