So I set them aside and I just set up this little stop block, which is just beautiful. I would clamp down to the table there, so I could make all the cuts quick and easy that way, rather than measuring each individual one. To do that when I can, but when you're doing this and you're trying to maximize what you get out of each board, you can't always do that.
So it's not paying attention, then you might try to put the wrong piece somewhere else or you might cut something the wrong way soon these boards. Here I made a bunch of the first cuts which were longer pieces, and then I set the back end of them aside because there was a bunch of pieces that were going to be the same length coming out of those boards.
That's where I got the plans from. I didn't buy any plans, this wasn't anything official but uh. When I was coming up with this, I took the time to plan out each cut on the board. So that way I would have the least amount of scraps possible. I wanted to get the most for my money, so here I'm just using a little bit of masking tape and I write what each of these boards is and then I just leave the board with the masking tape and the label on top and put all the Pieces under it that way, I don't get confused as to what piece is what, because some pieces are close to the same size as others.
